Suitable for Punch Needle, Rug Hooking or Tufting

DOVES OF PEACE: This serene and symbolic design features a pair of graceful doves portrayed in fluid, sweeping lines, accompanied by an olive branch that adds both visual balance and meaningful symbolism, a message of hope.

This design was originally created by Micah Clasper-Torch for Rug Hooking Magazine's November/December 2021 issue.

Punch Needle World Patterns are designed to make the creation process fun and accessible no matter where you are on your journey! In this PDF packet, you'll find a complete pattern ready for you to download and print at home, complete with step-by-step instructions for pattern assembly and transfer – so you can start creating right away.

What's Included:

This item includes two (2) digital files (PDFs) that will be available to download upon checkout.

  • One (1) multi-page PDF Packet that includes:

    • Full-size PDF pattern (tiled to print on standard 8.5"x11" paper)
    • Clear assembly instructions
    • Pattern transfer guide
    • Copyright permission for personal, non-commercial use

  • One (1) full sized vector file of the pattern (in case you prefer to print full size at your local print shop)

All of our 16"x16" pillow patterns are perfectly sized to work within our 20"x20" Gripper frame (available individually or as part of our Foundation Bundle). The finished example shown was created using the Oxford 10 Regular needle and rug yarn on monkscloth, but this versatile pattern works beautifully with various techniques and materials.

About our Digital Patterns:

  • Each pattern is tiled so you can print the design on multiple pages and tape together. Select “print actual size” from your printer settings to ensure the design prints at full scale!

  • The PDF packet includes transfer instructions, or you can watch our YouTube video to learn how to transfer this pattern to your backing fabric.

  • Punch needle patterns are meant to be punched from the back, so what you see in the PDF is the mirror image of the finished product. (If you intend to use the flat stitches as the front, you may want to flip this pattern horizontally before printing!)
  • These designs are easily adaptable so you can make it your own: pick your own yarn, colors, use different size needles, front and back stitches, sculpting, shading or any other technique you can think of! For inspiration and ideas of how you can work with your patterns, join us on Instagram or YouTube.
  • Share your finished work by using the hashtag #punchneedleworld on social media — we love to see what you create (and you just might be featured on our page)!
